Thanksgiving in Destin 2013

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching and families are making plans for their holiday celebrations. Many of our guests have discovered the convenience of gathering together in a beach home along Florida's Emerald Coast. Celebrating Thanksgiving in Destin is fun for the entire family. Elephant Walk at Sandestin - Executive Chef Mike McAnulla is preparing a delectable buffet of over 25 dishes, from southern cornbread dressing and a variety of salads, to sweet potato casserole and fresh autumn vegetables, to classic pumpkin pie and more. Freshly carved roasted turkey with pecan cranberry relish gravy, honey glazed ham, and a carved round of beef angus offer guests the classics and some innovative dishes with a twist, ensuring it's a holiday to remember. Cuvee Bistro - Our friend Chef Tim Creehan is renowned for his Thanksgiving Buffet at Cuvee Bistro. The feast will be served between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and includes traditional favorites and some of Chef Creehan's special delicacies. (Cost is $35/adult and $16/kids under 9) Reservations are  recommended call 850-650-8900.

Or try Cuvee Bistro’s Turkey-To-Go to take your traditional Thanksgiving meal home. The To-Go menu features a scrumptious selection of Chef Tim Creehan’s famous Thanksgiving Day Buffet items. Cuvee Bistro Turkey-To-Go orders must be placed by 12:00 noon Friday November 22, 2013. Pickup time is between 9:30-10:30 am Thanksgiving Day Nov. 28.

Harbor Docks - From 11 am - 7 pm, Harbor Docks invites family, friends, locals and tourists to join the celebration and enjoy a traditional, home-style Thanksgiving Day meal for free. Owner Charles Morgan III partners with Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest to serve the feast. Morgan covers the entire cost, and asks families to make a donation to raise funds for area non-profit organizations, Okaloosa Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest.
