What to bring for your stay in a Destin vacation rental

Your beach vacation is almost here! As you plan for your beach getaway, we’ve compiled a list of suggested items to bring when staying in a South Walton or Destin vacation rental. Here are the top things to bring when packing for your beach vacation. 

Beach supplies:
Cooler
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Hat
Beach towels
Bathing suits
Goggles/masks, snorkels, and fins
Beach toys
Frisbee or football
Beach read and/or magazines

Cooking/Kitchens:
Your favorite coffee grounds
Coffee filters
Insulated cup to keep drinks cold on the beach (no glass allowed on the beach)
Cooking oils, spices, seasonings, salt & pepper
Paper dinnerware for easy cleanup
Ziplock bags and/or aluminum foil

Supplies: (Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, and laundry detergent. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays)
Garbage bags
Dish soap
Dishwasher detergent
Laundry detergent
Paper towels
Favorite bath soap
extra rolls of toilet paper (especially for longer stays)

Bathroom items: (Guests receive an initial set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom)
Toiletries (including shampoo)
Hairdryer
Toothbrush and toothpaste

Comfort: (Rentals include bed linens, comforter, pillows, as well as bath towels and wash cloths)
Favorite pillow or blanket
Slippers/socks
Flip flops
A light jacket or windbreaker
