FREE Day Use of Two South Walton State Parks

Continuing what has become a summer tradition in South Walton, the Walton County Tourist Development Council is covering the cost of entry at two of area’s most popular state parks to increase available parking for beach-goers during the peak summer season as well as raise awareness of the variety of eco-tourism activities in our area.

From now until Labor Day, the public will enjoy FREE day-use admission to Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The free day-use admission is available now through Labor Day to visitors and residents during normal operating hours, generally 8 a.m. to sunset.

Trying to decide which park to visit? Here are some highlights:

Topsail Hill State Preserve

Grayton Beach State Park

One of the area’s largest state parks, Grayton Beach State Park is a 2000-acre park located along Scenic Highway 30A.
-     Overlooks Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake that is great for stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing.
